Zac Efron not only is turning heads pumping iron, but he turned a few heads this past week by pumping gas at the 7-Eleven and Studio City Mobil. The hunk at the pump has kept up his pumped-up physique that he worked up for The Lucky One. It may not have been so lucky for him box office-wise, but it certainly transformed him from cute boy to leading hunk. Anyway, the shutterbugs at FlameFlynet Pictures snapped the shots of him in loose khakis and a tight black T-shirt (along with a woman who was gawking nearby) and they're all on Zimbio (click here.) . . .
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz threw a superhero-themed party over the weekend for their adorable son Bronx and there were a few super-celebs in attendance. PINZ Bowling often has super-secret celeb events and closes for private parties, but this past Sunday some of the regular league bowlers were unceremoniously bumped off the lanes. They wouldn't even let the league regulars finish their game at two lanes, nope they had to leave. Who were they? They were members of the band Rush. Not only did they play locally, and appear at the American Music Awards, but the band members were also spotted all week at local restaurants . . . (Oh, and speaking of locals doing good, congrats to Justin Bieber for cleaning up at the AMAs!) . . .
Finally, Elle Fanning is known for her promptness and seriousness about being on time (so say a few of the friends she knows at Campbell Hall where she goes to school). The 14-year-old actress was popping back and forth to parties and premieres and screenings and red carpet events of her sister Dakota Fanning's latest movie The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 and then promoting her own movie Ginger and Rosa.
