Countdown to the Colfax World Fair – Day 4 – Oh to Be a Kid Again!
The biggest annual event in Valley Village takes place Saturday, May 18th.
The Colfax World Fair attracts kids of all ages because there’s something for everyone. There’s no age limit that’s too old to zip down one of the towering inflatable slides, splash around at Morella Water Park, or sing along with one of the entertainment acts.
As we continue with our 10-Day Countdown to the Colfax World Fair, today we feature another attraction, game or booth, food, silent auction item, and entertainment act which will attract the kids, but also make you remember why being a kid is so fun.

Attraction: Junior World Sports
Do you love sports? This attraction has it all: football, soccer, basketball, baseball, darts, and Frisbee… all in one inflatable play structure. No need to take the minivan trek to Toluca Baseball, AYSO Soccer and Beeman Basketball on Saturday. Just buy a ticket and play everything simultaneously.

Game or Booth: Lollipop Dream Face Painting
The fabulous kids’ party place Lollipop Dream is traveling from its home base in the Westfield Fashion Square Mall to the Colfax World Fair. Be transformed into a superhero, a butterfly, a fairy, or whatever your imagination can color. Will your kid be too embarrassed if his dad has sparkles on his face? Ask for some artwork on your arm instead.
Food Vendor: Pizza Land
Why is pizza served at 95% of kids’ birthday parties? Because it tastes great. Have a slice of cheese, pepperoni or veggie pizza from Valley Village’s own Pizza Land. It’s easy to eat while waiting in line for the next game or attraction.
Silent Auction Item: Nickelodeon VIP Animation Studio Tour
Be the top bidder and you and 9 of your friends can enjoy a VIP Tour of the Nickelodeon Animation Studio, home of Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Fresh Beat Band, and so many other Nick favorites. You’ll also get to take home a massive basket of assorted toys & goodies from the show. For one afternoon you’ll be the most popular kid on the block!
Entertainment: 1st Grade Song – Take Me Out to the World Fair
Sing along for a few verses to the tune Take Me Out to the Ballgame. This re-creation has quickly become a Colfax tradition. Come out for a 7th inning stretch at 1:00 when the 1st graders take the stage.
The Colfax World Fair takes place Saturday, May 18th from noon until 7:00 pm at Colfax Charter Elementary School – 11724 Addison St. in Valley Village. Admission and parking are free. Silent Auction items may be viewed by clicking here.
