The Colfax World Fair will arrive a week from today, and the excitement is building. Therefore, today we’ll feature an attraction, game or booth, food, silent auction item, and entertainment act that are all completely outrageous.

Countdown to the Colfax World Fair – Day 8 – Outrageous!

Attraction: Slideasaurus

A slide so big you can see it on the satellite view of google maps! This inflatable dinosaur is a stupendous 85 feet long and 17 feet high. After a 190-foot continuous climb you can slide down through his mouth. It’s the next best thing to Jurassic Park – the Ride!

Game or Booth: Hair Flair

You too can roam the fair like a rock star after you get some new color, sparkle and magic gel. You’ll have elite hairdressers who normally charge top dollar sprucing up your do. You may never wash your hair again!

Food Vendor: The Famous East Bay Crispy Chicken Sandwich

For the third year in a row, Colfax dad Barry Berkowitz will be recreating the dish that made him a legend in his own time. He calls it “sweet and savory” and it’s served with homemade coleslaw on top. Have one for lunch. The come back and have one for dinner.

Silent Auction Item: Concerts

The Colfax World Fair Silent Auction has an amazing array of concerts up for bidding including Fleetwood Mac, One Direction, Matchbox Twenty, Depeche Mode, and more! Be sure to check them all out in the huge silent auction tent.

Entertainment: Zumba

The multi-talented Jodie Roland Patterson will once again be bring her gals onstage to perform some energetic zumba numbers that will challenge your peripheral vision. They’re scheduled for 3:15, so you won’t want to miss it!

The Colfax World Fair takes place Saturday, May 18th from noon until 7:00 pm at Colfax Charter Elementary School – 11724 Addison St. in Valley Village. Admission and parking are free. Silent Auction items may be viewed by clicking here.
