A Season of Christmas Pageants Begin at First Christian Church

See the month's schedule of beautiful performances.

A season of music and cheer and children is kicking off in Studio City.

See the video above of the "Christmas Bells are Ringing" Choir Concert held at the First Christian Church North Hollywood in Studio City at 4390 Colfax Avenue ( corner of Colfax & Moorpark) on Dec. 8 at both 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. 

That's just the beginning.

There's a series of film nights: Edward Scissorhands on Dec. 10 and It Happened on Fifth Avenue on Dec. 17.

There's a Christmas tree lot through Dec. 22 with all the proceeds going to the children's outreach programs in the Los Angeles area.

Child care is available during the concerts

Operation Santa Claus is on Dec. 15 at 8 a.m. with toys collected and distributed to children in need in the community.

The Church School Christmas Pageant is scheduled for Dec. 16 at 10 a.m. featuring "This is How We Do Christmas."

The Trees for Kids Movie Night & Wrap Party is Saturday Dec. 22 at 6 p.m.

Sunday services are at 10 a.m. (traditional with choir), 5:30 p.m. (casual and contemporary) and 7 p.m. (meditative with prayer and annointing), on Sundays. 

The Longest Night Service is Dec. 23 at 7 p.m. This is a candlelight service for the hope-filled season of Advent.

Christmas Eve service with a live Nativity is at 5 p.m. and a Candlelight service is at 11 p.m.

New Year's Eve service is at 11 p.m. to be conducted in Spanish, Korean and English, followed by food from all three traditions.
