Eric Kurt Heschong, 62, worked at Universal Studios, the Hanna Barbera Studios in the Cahuenga Pass and CBS Sudios, died on June 4 in Santa Clarita.
He was a master painter for Universal Studios, developing conceptual renderings for new themed parks around the world, and was acclaimed as a Disney "Imagineer" for his Tomorrowland visual concepts in 1998. He began his career painting scenery at CBS Studio City and lived for years in Encino caring for his mother.
