School Needs Help with Mural of Rainforest

First it was the underwater section, then the desert, then Africa, and now it's the rainforest.

Kindergarten teacher Jessica Hoeschen and animator and artist Shaunt Nigoghossian, who is a parent at Valley View Elementary School (6921 Woodrow Wilson Drive) as well as other school teachers and parents, will be sketching out the mural at night so that the children can paint their animals into the mural by day during class time.

An image of the mural will be projected on the wall, and parents are asked to outline the image 

Thursday, Oct. 24th  - Mural Prep Day!

Starts at 8:00am

Friday, Oct. 25th - Mural Painting Day!

8:00am - 2:30pm

The children will paint the new addition to the mural. Parents needed to help supervise.

The mural is partially funded by the PTA and the California Institute of Contemporary Arts.
