Irrespective if the fact that students are being enrolled in elite private colleges, big public universities or anywhere else. Students wonder hard whether or not they will be smart enough to let the string of As, Bs and even Cs develop in their college, the way they did in high school. It happens at several occasions that pupils fear the specter of Es and Fs, where some even are badly scared from the specter of D's. It happens because they have known college education as some hard nut to crack which is way much harder than high school.

As students step up to their room, they unpack some humps of boxes, cases and sometimes their favorite pot tree; and just simple start living with usually one or at times more strangers. Right from day one space is perceived as a rare commodity, one other dilemma is when to light-out the room – which sometimes happens at 11pm, 2.30am or with common consensus. It is likely that roommates become friends and may be best friends, if for at least considering the fact things won’t remain forever.

3. Where on college –is my best friend?

Almost all first-year students attend the orientations with a considerably big number of other students who belong to same age group and are equally anxious. Even students with outgoing nature feel intimidated despite having a plethora of friends. This reflects the fact that these people are seriously missing someone whom they share their back-story and one that understands their unuttered or conceal notion of ideas and comments.

4. The party stuff

Parties happen at universities and colleges in huge numbers. College administration tends to ban alcohol in the premises or may limit parties that serve drugs or excessive alcohol. However, students opened in front of us and divulged that one will find ever such substance at parties no matter how severe the resistance is from the administration. Often bad things comes on record, one student told us how his partying with some acquaintances made him woke up next morning in the ER via alcohol poisoning.

5. Am I safe here?

It is true that no college can be counted as one that proffers a really crime-free environment. Security issues are different with different colleges and campuses too, thus institutions noticeably work out the student safety measures. No matter what circumstance you come across you must report it immediately to the campus security department.
