A new show – Live Life and Win! – called on local young artist – Dylan Bocanegra – to be a guest. His segment airs tomorrow – (9/29-2012) in Los Angeles on Fox 11 at 8:30AM. The show highlights our youth’s stories of success in school, sports, arts, health and volunteerism. Bocanegra was discovered by a producer of Live Life and Wins after seeing him on Byron Allen's The Young Icons. (video)
During his visit while returning his commissioned piece – Lady of California – to Maria Shriver last week – she asked Dylan if he’d like to do some more artwork for the entryway to her office which he is elated to work on for her Brentwood office.
Dylan also teams up with fellow LACHSA (Los Angeles High School for the Performing Arts) graduate –Michael Goodman – for an art show here in the valley this October. Details to come.
Young Bocanegra continues to strive for his dreams - goals and aspirations as all of our kids should be encouraged to do - no matter how large or small in scope or stature.
