BARK: Kids Reading to Dogs
The BARK program encourages children to increase their
reading skills and self-confidence by reading aloud to certified therapy dogs.
Dogs are non-judgmental listeners and fun to read to! This is also a great way
to help your kids get comfortable around dogs, and all of our therapy dogs are
very gentle. No reservations are required and we’ll supply the books (or you
can bring your favorites). For more information, call the branch at
