Bryan Chan and Friends Music Showcase

We are set for another night of music at Jump Cut Café (formerly Lulu’s Beehive) at 13203 Ventura Blvd Studio City 91604  July 27th between 6pm and 10pm.. This will be, as always, an up close and intimate performance.  Jump Cut Cafe serves awesome coffee drinks, sandwiches, soups, salads and taste treats. There will be no cover charge for this event. The line up for the night is as follows.

6pm to 6:30pm--- Simon Lucas
Simon is a ‘folky’ from England. He has been in the U.S.A. for 30 years but still
speaks funny. He collects stringed instruments, some of which he can even play. He normally plays guitar, but has been known to pick up a string bass, dulcimer, cuatro or marxophone. He has a deep voice and sings a mixture of Irish, Scottish, Country and anything else he hears that he likes. He also has a stock of amusing songs, which sometimes he can be bribed into singing. He refuses to make CDs, so if you want to hear him, you will have to find him onstage playing live.

6:30pm to 7pm---Jo Cuseo
carrying on the rich tradition of American Blues/rock.
Singer-songwriter, JO CUSEO is a veteran of the L.A. music scene having written and worked with Tom Deluca(Fox Sports West), Jan Buckingham (Pam Tillis), Mike Landau (Seal) and Matt Luneau (Michael McDonald) and Bob Summers.

SOUTHBOUND BEAT, BLUES BYTES, SOUTHLAND BLUES and MUSIC CONNECTION have all written favorable reviews pertaining to either Jo's electric live performances or his recorded work. Most recently, the band he fronts, THE JO CUSEO BLUES PROJECT has released it’s latest CD, “BURNING DESIRE”.

The band was featured artist on “SATURDAY MORNING LIVE” on 95.9FM
(The Octopus) in Ventura, CA. They perform regularly in Southern California, having opened for Berlin in October 2007 at the Canyon Club as well as other Socal dates.

Karen Klaskin and Bob Mizrahi have both been playing guitar and singing since the age of 13. In their own right they are professionals and have brought their talents together to form a very special kind of music they like to call-- "Acoustic Folk Rock”. The songs they sing are all favorites for sure but the unique way in which they perform them is heartwarming, and smooth. Each and every performance has had the crowd asking for more. They are very excited to be singing at the Jumpcut Cafe on Saturday July 27th
