6pm to 6:30pm--- Garry Corman   www.myspace.com/fishgotgroovemusic
Garry's favorite genre of music is a great song.  He has had a number of indie cuts, including one with Lisa O'Kane ("Paper Thin")on her critically acclaimed "It Don't Hurt" CD.  Garry is the cofounder of Twirling Betty, a genre-defying band he formed with Justefanie Strachan in 2010.  Whether he's rockin' with the Bettys, delivering torch songs with Samantha Ahdoot, or just “surfing the neuroses” in a solo set,  Garry promises to take you on a thrill ride of incred----- oh never mind, just sip your latte, and have a Xanax handy.

9pm to 9:30pm--- Paul Kenny Jr.   http://www.reverbnation.com/paulkenny
Paul Kenny is a Topanga Canyon Los Angeles CA native. He has been writing music and performing since he was a child. He had his first major record deal out of high school with longtime friends and band mates…”Wooden Circus”, an eclectic alternative rock band. A Dwight Yoakum affiliated independent label called “Little Dog Records”, took an interest and signed them to a deal with Mercury Records. Wooden Circus shortly then released a record called “Lemon Drop” in which Paul partnered on with Pete Anderson, (Grammy Award winning, Guitar Player and Producer…Jackson Browne, Michelle Shocked, Lucinda Williams, Dwight Yoakum and Roy Orbison) who also produced the "Lemon Drop" album. "Wooden Circus" opened for acts such as Incubus and Dwight Yoakum. Paul and Pete co-wrote “Sleepy Town”, for the artist Flaco Jimenez in 2000.
Paul went solo after a long journey of independent band projects. Paul then got back to his roots focusing on more of his singer/songwriter abilities. Paul recorded his first EP titled “Buffalo” with "The Mojo Monkeys" in 2009 with Doug Pettiebone on guitar, Taras Prodoniak (Lucinda Williams, Dwight Yoakum and Merle Haggard) played bass and co-produced, Dave Raven on drums, Phil Parlapianao on keys and engineering by Mike Dumez. The “Buffalo EP” is a Private Release. Michelle Shocked picked up the song “Better Days”, a song off the Buffalo EP, to acknowledge artists whom she thought best represented the recession.
In 2010 Paul went out on the road, touring the south and mid-west. Paul went on to play festivals such as SXSW, Harmony Fest, Sundance, Topanga Days and Topanga Earth day. In 2011 when Paul came home and while playing a favorite little haunt in Topanga Canyon. An art patron discovered him and sent him to Pine Mountain to record with Nigel of "Mott The Hoople" that winter. Paul was brought in to play on the day of the burn at center camp for the song he wrote and recorded called "Burning Alive" the following summer. The song “End to All War” was then released on the “Harmonics for Humanity”, sound track and also released on the “Children’s Charity Hospital Fund”, CD for Los Angeles. Paul then went on to play "The One Event", to support his song "End to All War" in Seattle, a benefit for Autism in Palm Springs, CA at the close of the year.
In 2012 he began a project by the name of "The Dead Gypsies", with bandmate Misty Dawn Lawrence, singer/songwriter, on Zach Broocke's album "Watch Dog Lookout". Paul played the Los Angeles "Conscious Life Expo". He wrote a song for Rain Catcher, an organization that brings clean drinking water to people all over the world. This song called "Catch The Rain". Paul then played "The One Love Festival" in El Segundo, CA. Paul is now opening for national artists such as Dave Mason, Leon Russel, John Hiatt, and Donovan Frankenrieter. Paul Kenny is a social conscious emerging artist exploring the sound scape of singer/songwriter coining a new brand of folk he refers to as "Cosmicana". Paul has a respectively innovative modern approach to an old traditional singer/ songwriter performer. Paul Kenny is an ancient aware futurist with a mighty message.
