The fabulous Studio City Film Festival will be screening the multi award winning short film, DOT GOT SHOT this Friday, February 8th at 10:00pm at The CAP Theatre, also known as the Complete Actor's Place -  located at 13752 Ventura Blvd in Studio City!

DOT GOT SHOT, co- directed by Honey Lauren and Carlos Ramos, is a dramadey in a lurid, crime genre setting about a New York City Detective, (Honey Lauren), who suffers from PTSD, (post traumatic stress disorder), as a result of a bullet that is ludged in her head.

What critics are saying about Honey Lauren and DOT GOT SHOT, Winner of three major Film Festivals including BEST CRIME SHORT at the prestigious Honolulu Film Awards, BEST ACTION SHORT at The Atlanta Underground Film Festival and BEST CRIME SHORT at The Pollygrind Film Festival, named in the “Top 25 Film Festivals by Moviemaker Magazine, 2012!

“If you're following the Festival circuit right now, try to catch a screening of DOT GOT SHOT, co-directed and starring Honey Lauren. It's an incredible five minute short that deserves to be expanded to feature length. Producers: do something about this”.

Mike Watt --Film Threat

“The short turns out to be a journeyman's effort on a low budget that shows how reality can change for those with PTSD. It's worth the time to watch Lauren as the beautiful and believable Dot.”

“Serious artistry.”

Michel DeLuca, --Niagara Gazette Josh Bell--Las Vegas Weekly Magazine

“DOT GOT SHOT plays like the opening to a feature. Awesome!

And Winner for the bests crime drama this year!”

Chad Clinton Freeman -- Director and Founder of The Pollygrind Film Festival

“Making its rounds through underground film festivals, Honey Lauren‘s Dot Got Shot brings a relevant psychological punch ....STAGGERING!”

Jared Mobarack-- Spotlight On Cinema

Dear tbs, Deon Coles black box is the worst tv show ever. Though it is hosted by a black man, it'sRead More a show based on pointing fun and rude Racist jokes directed toward black people. If there was a white host it would be considered racist but because a black man was appointed to be host , you might have figured we wouldn't be offended but we are and I can't speak for all but I feel like resist jokes aren't ok regardless of who is telling them and I would like tbs to take down this show or atleast change the points in the show ! -signed, Kalil Stimpson
