Introductory Talk on Transcendental Meditation

This free Introductory Talk provides an opportunity to learn more about Transcendental Meditation. 


The Transcendental Meditation technique is a simple, natural, effortless process practiced 20 minutes twice daily while sitting comfortably with eyes closed. It is unique among techniques of meditation, distinguished by its effortlessness, naturalness and profound effectiveness. Over 350 peer-reviewed scientific studies have documented the benefits of TM for the mind, body and behavior.


The TM technique allows the mind to settle inward, beyond thought, to experience the silent reservoir of energy, creativity and intelligence found within everyone—a natural state of restful alertness. During the practice, the brain functions with significantly greater coherence and the body gains deep rest.

At the TM intro, we'll discuss why TM is easy to learn and enjoyable to practice, and we'll cover some of the scientific research on the benefits of TM for mental potential, health, and relationships. If you decide to learn TM, we'll schedule your course at your convenience. Everyone is welcome.
