The Cultural Affairs Committee of the Studio City Neighborhood Council, in collaboration with the City of Los Angeles, Department of Recreation and Parks, and the Campo de Cahuenga Historical Memorial Association, presents the second annual free family Luminaria Festival Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the historic Campo de Cahuenga, 3919 Lankershim Blvd. in Studio City, to celebrate the holiday season.

The annual holiday event will include free entertainment by the Carolina Russek Dancers, Synchronicity Handbell Choir, and the North Hollywood Jazz Band, oral history tours of the Campo de Cahuenga, children’s activities, readings by Studio City librarians, and refreshments. The Luminaria Festival recognizes the western and Spanish heritage of the Campo through decorations of colorful bagged lights called luminarias.

Free parking is available in the Campo de Cahuenga parking lot or the MTA parking lot.
