Celebrate Mack Sennett and the Birth of Studio City

The Studio City Neighborhood Council's Cultural Affairs Committee and the Studio City branch of the Los Angeles Public Library present "Mack Sennett and the Birth of Studio City," a free program and film screening, honoring the 85th anniversary of the opening of the Mack Sennett Studio in Studio City on May 1, 1928.

Sennett historian Brent Walker will give a PowerPoint presentation, followed by a free screening of Sennett shorts, The Dentist (1932), starring W. C. Fields, Taxi for Two (1930), and Match Play (1930). A reception will follow the screening.

Accommodations are available during the Americans with Disabilities Act.
