LISA FINNIE AND FRIENDS LIVE AT THE OYSTER HOUSE SATURDAY JANUARY 18

This superb show is not to be missed! Described
as a “torch-hillbilly enchanteuse” with “hip-chick atmospherics” and a “sultry,
languid approach”, local singer-songwriter Lisa Finnie incorporates elements of
blues, jazz, folk into her songs of love loss, and always with a groove.

Joining Finnie will be the stunningly versatile, guitarist-in-demand, DYLAN THOMAS (Max Collins Band, The Dickies, King Cotton), multi-talented bassist/trumpeter/banjo player, TIM FLEMING (Laura Branigan, Yesterday's Child) & Finnie’s longtime collaborator, percussion maestro/harmonica slinger, JOHN PALMER (Wanda Jackson, Ronnie Dawson, Three Bad Jacks).

Be a part of the rare opportunity to experience Finnie & Friends in an up close and personal, warm, cozy, friendly ambience WITHOUT A COVER CHARGE!

The Oyster House is the finest secret hideaway in the City and now’s your chance to participate in the magic and charm of this one-of-a-kind establishment.

Finnie began singing classical and pop music as a child. Her early idols were Elvis Presley and Janis Joplin.

Finnie is thrilled about the latest configuration of her combo, Finnie & Friends, featuring unique musicians she’s been wood shedding with over the last year or so.

Lisa produces/hosts two radio shows at 88.5 FM KCSN: The Dylan Hour, and Masters of Song, Sundays 11 am-1pm.
