SWEAT FOR A CAUSE: A BENEFIT FOR THE PHILIPPINE TYPHOON SURVIVORS

LOCAL FILIPINA TRAINERS TEAM UP TO HOST A HAIYAN FUNDRAISING WORKOUT

Sweat for a Cause: A relief effort to benefit the Philippine typhoon survivors

STUDIO CITY, CA - It has been over a week since the Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), one of the strongest storms recorded in history, struck the Philippines. Currently, more than FOUR MILLION people are displaced and need food, shelter and water. While it was quite difficult early on to deliver aid to the survivors by other organizations, the Philippine Red Cross is already on the ground and serving.

Sweat it out with Jocelyn Cruz of JoZ KnowZ Burn N Shed and Rae Toledo Latsch of Dance it Out on Sunday, November 24th for a two hour workout starting at 11:30 am. The charity event will be held at Tumble Kick, 12655 Ventura Blvd on the Second Floor (above Pinz Bowling Center) in Studio City. While the event is free, we humbly ask for donations throughout the workout. All proceeds from the event will benefit the survivors through the Philippine Red Cross.

“The people of our beautiful home country are experiencing one of the greatest devastations they have ever known. Though it seems we are a million miles away, we can still help,” says Rae Toledo, “Please join Joz and me as we Sweat For a Cause! No donation is too small. Let's help these amazing survivors triumph over this tragedy!"
