The Valley Watercolor Society is pleased to announce the first meeting of its 2013-2014 season! The first meeting will be held in the new meeting location at St. Michael and All Angel Church at 3646 Coldwater Canyon Avenue, Studio City, CA. The meeting begins at 7:00 PM and will last approximately 2 1/2 hours. Refreshments will be served, and non-members are most welcome!
Every meeting offers a unique program and demonstration by a recognized painter in the watermedia arts, and this first meeting will feature Los Angles-based artist Al Setton. Mr Setton is an experienced painter, lecturer, and teacher; his striking and colorful paintings are noted for their high contrast and bright energetic relationships of shapes, color harmonies, and calligraphic strokes.
Please join us in the meeting hall behind the church at 7 PM; parking is located in the parking lot adjacent to the hall.
