Studio City resident and world-renown environmentalist Ed Begley Jr. took to the streets last week with thousands of others to march in downtown Los Angeles protesting Monsanto and the genetically modified seeds they produce.
"Let’s hear your voices now, not just today at this wonderful rally, but e-mail about it!” Begley told the crowd. “Tweet about it! Show up! Get in the streets and take action! They need to know. Go to the Rodaleinstitute.org, it has lots of information about great successes.”

”They know about farming that is organic and sustainable,” Begley said. “So if you want to check that out, and say 'No' to Monsanto!"
Others joining the rally include actors Robin Arcuri, Lewis Smith, Carolina De Athey and Mayan Rapper Guido Coreleone. There was a Mexican dance group, performance artists and a poet.
