Biggest Presidential Fundraiser in History Held Right Here in Studio City at George Clooney's

So far, the residents aren't in an uproar. But do you know anyone who's going? We don't.

Studio City longtime resident has invited to our neighborhood in what is shaping up to be the biggest fundraiser in U.S. history

The party of 150 guests paying $40,000 each is already sold out, and some tickets were given through an (where you didn't have to pay or contribute to win). 

Despite the fact that many people in the neighborhood have persistent complaints or , some of the local leaders and activists have heard little (if any) complaints about the upcoming party in Studio City.

"If anything, I've received emails from people saying 'how cool' it was that we're playing host to this event," said John Walker, president of the Studio City Neighborhood Council.

So far, neither the local police nor the local politicians or neighborhoood activists have been consulted or prepped about the plans or additional security expected for the May 10 event.

The event is expected to raise $12 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
