Today Saturday September 22, I Hold Beautiful Feathers

Pictures taken on Saturday September 22, 2012 at the Los Angeles City Hall.

This morning, Saturday I woke up wondering: what I am going to do today to
have some fun? Instead of staying alone by myself doing nothing, I wanted to
do something fun.

It was a beautiful sunny warm morning; the kinds I love.

So I decide to go to into Los Angeles. Why not?

I took the orange line and the red line to the Civic Center and I arrived at City Hall where the Congress of Neighborhood Councils was held. I did not really plan to go to this meeting because my actual (maybe temporary) aversions to Neighborhood Councils.

So when I arrived at City Hall, the first thing I noticed were all these beautiful feathers in different colors. The nice lady I start talking with asked me if I would like to wear one of them and took a picture of it. Of course I said "yes" to start my new fun day after my recent morose and dark days. I wanted to be happy for one day and do something good for myself and others. I became the public attraction at City Hall and the Congress of Neighborhood Councils...wearing these beautiful feathers, and taking poses as I was asked to.

After my exhibition 2 people who loved it decided to wear feathers too and took pictures with me.

Here am I. Here are the pictures.

I will be wearing a carnival costume and having fun as I was ask to. I need it and I deserve it.
