Neighborhood Council Approves Funds Toward 3rd Annual Luminaria Festival
The free family event and tradition continues at Campo de Cahuenga in Studio City Dec. 8.
More than 2,000 luminarias will take over Campo de Cahuenga once again this holiday season for families in Studio City.
On Wednesday the Studio City Neighborhood Council approved spending up to $2,500 toward this year's event, which runs from 4 to 7 p.m., Dec. 8. The free family event will offer children's activities, complimentary cookies and coca, live music, entertainment and more.
Paper bags lit with candles were used for the Luminaria around the holidays years ago, but today's luminarias are lit electronically. Also at the event, you can meet your local neighborhood council members.
