Which Wich - New Sandwich Shop in Studio City

At Which Wich you can have the sandwich of your choice, made to perfection.

Bill is a regular at Which Wich. He lives in a condo down the street, off Radford.  He really enjoys having lunch at Which Wich and eats there nearly every day.  Which Wich is new to Studio City.

It's been open for about a month now and has a group of regulars just like Bill. I found the bright yellow sign on Ventura Boulevard slightly west of Du Par's and wondered to myself what Which Wich was?

On closer inspection I found out they offer freshly made sandwiches of different varities and have created a system of ordering that makes it easy on customers to order exactly what they want.

It's easy on the kitchen staff too because each item is indicated on the paper bag in which the final product will be served. Here's the routine.  Upon entering Which Wich the customer will scan the 10 possible types of sandwich available.  Under each heading in a rack, one takes the appropriate bag.

If you want turkey, roast beef, chicken, ham or pork, pick up a bag from that particular heading, grab a red marker, write your first name in the block and check off white or wheat, lettuce, tomato, onion or grilled onions, etc.

You can also pick out the dressing (yellow mustard, Dijon, Mayo...).  Mark the bag with your preferences and hand it to the cashier.  Pay for your item and get a receipt that shows your name.  When your name is called, proceed to 'pick up'.  You can find a small table inside or out-- nothing fancy -- just good, clean, efficient and affordable.  They've got a selection of individual sized chips, soda, iced tea, lemonade, milkshakes and cookies. They offer kid's meals as well. Which Wich is apparently a franchise business which was started in Austin, Texas.

The gentleman, Mr. Ankur, who owns the Studio City location has already opened one in Burbank and is comtemplating Pasadena as another possibility. Daniel and Josh, two employees who work in the shop were incredibly helpful. We'd especially like to thank Bill, the regular customer we spoke with who filled us in on all the major details of this great new sandwich shop.

Thanks to all the great people behind the counter.  Terrific Pineapple Shake!
