Dachshund Outreach Giving & Socialization (D.O.G.S) attempts to fill in the gap between the years of rescue and placement through the end of life. The breed specific not-for-profit organization celebrates one of the world’s most famous dogs, the dachshund, by focusing on community outreach, giving and socialization.
It is D.O.G.S’ mission to educate the doxie public on health, diet and the importance of regular socialization for these unique loveable low-riders. Through private donations and the sells of RufusontheWeb.com images via an assortment of specialty items, D.O.G.S will offer services like free non-anesthetic teeth cleaning clinics, training and fitness seminars and other fun socialization events to garner awareness.
