A popular trend on Facebook is people taking pictures of their dogs with a short note on a plain sheet of paper publicly announcing some behavior or habit. It reminds me of cross between an elementary school show and tell and Catholic confession, because most of the habits or behaviors being shared are not particularly favorable for the dogs but still endearing to the dog-loving community. For example, one that appeared on the LA Doxies Facebook page read, “I bark at old ladies.” Others have said, “I eat poop” or “I want everyone’s toys.”
