Wiener Dog Wednesday, LBMA’s Architecture for Dogs

Summer is here and along with it comes the heat.  If you’re looking for an opportunity for you and your pampered pooches to cool off, my hot dogs and I recommend the Long Beach Museum of Art’s pet-friendly exhibit Architecture for Dogs.  Right off of E. Ocean Boulevard on the oceanfront, the museum is an ideal spot to beat the heat.

Making its worldwide debut in Long Beach, Architecture for Dogs celebrates that fame bond between human and dog and invites you to bring your pups.  World-renowned architects and designers have built some functional, thoughtful and stunningly beautiful habitats for our pups and have put them on display.

The museum is open to the public Thursday and Friday through Sunday; my wiener dogs and I recommend Thursday nights.  From June 27 through August 29, our friends at Pussy and Pooch are hosting Yappy Hours socials for people and their pets.   Pussy and Pooch will be providing pet-licious pup treats during Yappy Hours roughly from 5-8 each Thursday.  To read more about the exhibit click here.
