Wiener Dog Wednesday, Lily's Debut

After 36 days as our foster dachshund we have decided make Lily part of our permanent pack. We weren't necessarily in the market for a third at this time, but when the opportunity presents itself you sometimes have to simply go with it. Lily has assimilated into our lives and hearts seamlessly, and we believe she thinks she's home so we made it official.  

Lily got her last vaccination this week and will be making her official debut in the LA dog community tomorrow at the Long Beach Museum of Art. Our friends from Pussy and Pooch and Luxemutt will be hosting a Yappy Hour Social and all are welcome. It's an on-leash event set in in the Bluff Park neighborhood of Long Beach overlooking the ocean. As the temperature continue to rise retreating the cool ocean breeze of Long Beach will be a perfect preamble to the Labor Day weekend. Lily along with her complete pack with be there.
