Walk Score Rates Studio City's Walkability

You could call Studio City the little brother of Los Angeles. It's lovely for its abundance of "mom and pop" shops and local entertainment that make traveling to LA unnecessary. However, the greatest thing about Studio City is its walkability, especially in areas like Ventura Boulevard.

Walk Score, a newly updated iPhone app and website, helps you to enjoy a more walkable lifestyle by discovering and sharing what makes a neighborhood unique. They currently rank Studio City as the 22nd most walkable neighborhood in Los Angeles with a score of 75 which means "Most errands can be accomplished by foot." (This is good!)

The way it works: Scores ranging from 0-100 categorize large cities and their inner neighborhoods by a specific location and its distance to close-by amenities like parks, banks, grocery stores and more. You can also add your own local places and/or review others via comments and likes. 

Get started on Walk Score today via app or web by creating your own "me" page and adding your favorite local places in Studio City.
