I'm a Great Portrait Photographer that Needs to Pay her Health Insurance!

Artist Laurie Freitag accepting commissions for portrait photography to help her pay her health insurance.

I'm almost two months behind in my insurance premium! Holy c%#$! How did THAT happen?

Oh yeah, when I needed to use the insurance a few months back when I fractured my toe.The $40 here and $40 there from the deductables added up to an extra $250 for the month. Big expense for advice from professionals telling me to wear better shoes basically.

In trying to make ends meet, I'm trying to re-evaluate my talents. I have this one particular talent that I never seem to market. I'm a darn good portrait photographer with emphasis on slice of life.

So, this column today is all about me marketing my portrait photography skills.

But I don't want to waste your time when the work can speak for itself. So, I'll upload lots of photographs that I've taken and you can be the judge.

My prices are very reasonable. I'll take 100 shots of you, your child, your children, your dog, your family. I use natural window light for all my work so I won't be dragging around lights or backdrops. My price is $75 and I'm usually done shooting in one hour. I work on the weekends between the hours of 9am-6pm.

Take a look at my work here on this Patch site!
