Would You Love a Portrait of Your Baby from the Nanny-Photographer?

Studio City has it's own Super Nanny as well as Baby/Child Photographer rolled up into one!

I've been enjoying my time over the past month taking baby and child portraits. I've been taking portraits for over 25 years here and there, but have really been placing a new priority on making more beautiful images on the weekends now.

During the week, I'm a full-time nanny for a 2 year old. I transferred out of a Studio City Entertainment Business Management firm to Child Care 5 years ago when I felt a lightness come over me when our actor/producer/writer clients started having children and bringing them into the office. I thought..hey! I need to feel this lightness all the time...so I switched careers! My friends thought I was crazy and couldn't imagine that I could make a living watching other peoples kids.

I look at it as in investment in my sanity to be spending my time with beings that are happy and honest as opposed to figuring out how to keep someones' bank account full when their wife has withdrawn the money for her handbag habit.

I have accumulated over 4,500 hours working as a nanny and babysitter in the past 5 years working with babies and children aged 3 months-12 years old. Let's put it this way. I think I can safely say, I know this area! I'm also a Child Development major at Valley College where when I finish 2 more classes, I'll be Infant and Toddler certified to work at a pre-school. I'm also a trained pare-professional, one-on-one special needs shadow. These trainings all seem to be an extension of my abilities to perceive, to see, to interpret. That's what I do.

My prices are very reasonable, 100 shots for a $100. Sometimes I shoot more though, if the shoot is going well. I really love what I do and if the light is right, well, I just want to keep shooting!

I use natural window light for all my work so I won't be dragging around lights or backdrops. I work on the weekends between the hours of 9am-6pm and am usually done within 60-90 minutes. You will get the best shots on a disc to enlarge also.
