The call to repress automatic..guns will not stop any human, infused with anger and hate, from accomplishing destruction (case in point the slashing of children in china today). Removing equipment to accomplish rage and destruction is an impossible and formidable task BUT if we remove the nourishing and endorsement of internal anger then we will see a decrease in selfish displays of anger/rage.
I believe every producer, director, actor, musician of violence should evaluate the fodder they are permeating into society. I would rather have 3hrs of inane political ads than an equivalent medium of anger and hate infused mantra. You and I must choose to reject or better yet call a moratorium on such medium. AND as we approach the year end we as a nation need to individually exam our contribution...if only by ambivalence or apathy..to an angry society.
A return to contriteness. Not cussing such an event and then assuming our response as sufficient. This is another very dark and evil INTERNAL attack on humans in a Nation which once exported goodness and holiness While I am certainly not pleased with the outcome of local and National election this idea of fomenting daily against the person elected rather than their actions is wrought with serious ramifications of internal rage, and continuous universal discontent. The admonishment in the New Testament to pray for those in authority....that we may live peacefully has been discounted or ignored or forgotten as a means for National protection and health.
