Just wanted to start a blog about what to do with the kids during the summer on a budget. I hope you add to it so we can all steal ideas from each other.
the first idea i have is to get a slip and slide. I jsut moved into a house (which is why i need cheap ideas!) and they had one of these at Big lots for 20 bucks. then I saw another double sided one! at ralphs for 20 bucks too. My 10 year old and my 16 year old are having a blast on it. I am thinking of putting it in the front yard to attract neighborhood kids like I did when I was little. i even tried it even though they said it is not for adults, but it was fun. And if it only lasts a summer who cares, it was only $20. i may buy a few for next year
