Blog: Witness the Dancing Classrooms from All Over Los Angeles

Schools, Valley View, Ballroom, Dance, kids, fun,

So tonight was the competition of the Dancing Classrooms LA. This program, which is the same that was documented in MADHOT Ballroom, brings ballroom dancing to the elementary schools.  Tonight the kids got to dress up and compete against other schools. There was so much energy and excitement there, and so much happiness among the kids.  They were real young ladies and gentlemen.  There were schools from Beverly Hills, Compton, Hollywood, North Hollywood, Woodland Hills, East LA and more.  Such an amazing thing.  Too bad not all schools can do this.  If you can, Like them On Facebook at Dancing Classrooms LA. Love to see the positivity and happines in the kids. i cant think of a better way to bring people, and kids together.

How interesting and what a coincident. Only last night I wondered what happened to Bobby Burgess, of Lawrence Welk fame. He is doing this exact thing in the Valley. His Burgess Cotillion has been around for many years and has quite a reputation and success teaching dance, manners, and etiquette.

Michelle, I so enjoyed watching the videos. Our kids were great and it amazes me that they accomplished so much in 10 weeks. Bravo, Valley View Silver Medalists!
