The Three Secrets to Huntington Learning Center’s Success for 35 Years

We are celebrating the 35th Anniversary of Huntington Learning Centers nationwide while we are marking our 17th year of operation in Encino as well.

We are celebrating the 35th Anniversary of Huntington Learning Centers nationwide while we are marking our 17th year of
operation in Encino as well.

Co-founder, Dr. Ray Huntington stated. "At Huntington, we know what it means for families to trust us with something so important: the academic well-being of

their children." Here in Encino, we cherish the trust that parents have
placed in us and we are proud to be affiliated with Huntington which has helped
hundreds of thousands of students throughout its 35-year existence and has also
been a national leader in the field of tutoring.

What is the Secret to our longevity and how does it apply to your child?

No two students are alike.

Every student learns differently. Huntington has never embraced a
one-size-fits-all tutoring approach. We recognize that what works for one
student may not for another. Our learning programs are tailored to your child's needs and goals.

Quick fixes do not work in the long term. We focuses on uncovering the root of a child's school issues, identifying basic skills missed or specific struggles that make it difficult for your child to progress in certain subjects. Huntington's track
record of success is due to our commitment to your child become true
independent learners-- no longer dependant on someone else spoon -feeding the
answers .

Collaboration is key. Working together with parents and teachers is invaluable
We see great results from incorporating school visits into student learning
programs. Our center staff communicate frequently with your child's teachers to
stay in touch about the students' progress at Huntington and school.

We are "Your Tutoring Solution" for students in all grades and subjects. For more information, go to www.huntingtonhelps.com .

I wish the media had countered Garcetti's claims with an examination of the facts and had exposedRead More his relationship with BIG development. Only the LA Weekly covered these stories--keep reading it and keep posting.

Oh, it was under announcements and not opinion so that is why I did not understand the post whichRead More appeared as facts.

Presumptuous? What about my "endorsement" is presumptuous. You don't really need toRead More respond😃, I just didn't understand the comment.

I attended N.H.H.S. in the mid-seventies. Mr. Reeves and Mr. Moelter were two of my favorites.Read More Loved Mr. McLeroy for Sociology.

great article Mary! Ms. Korney, she sometimes scared me to death! But always around christmas IRead More think of her and pronounce my letters clearly at the end of a word when I sing. I can still remember the song I had to sing for my final, "If ever I would leave you..." She taught me a lot. I agree with everything you said about Mr. Reeves. I had Mr. Pesin for Algebra, he did nothing to help further my math skills. The biggest flirt around, ick. We had a girl in school at the time that flirted her way to an A and hardly ever went to class. Go figure!! I also thought quite highly of Ms. Requiam. Glad she's still around.

I also notice Wendy Gruel has no platform, except taking money from special interest (most notablyRead More her puppet masters at the DWP) and having one of the most negative campaigns I've ever seen......no thanks, negative Wendy, fool me once.....Eric is our next Mayor....
Jo Perry May 20, 2013 at 08:27 pm
