You asked for the most popular articles of 2011. I have a nomination for one of the BEST articles of 2011 although some may not deem the subject to be popular. I am referring to "Child of Wednesday", by Irene DeBlasio done back in the spring. It was a sensitive look into the problems many children face in today's society and the frequent inept way some parents try to deal with and explain a variety of social issues. I agree with the author that we can solve a lot of problems in society by helping our children cope as they grow up by having a better understand of human frailties. I think the best articles that Patch publishes are those that have a message that will make us all better for having read them.
