Dog Smarts--More Q and A from a Middle Schooler

Middle School student, Daisy, asks Pet Peeves columnist, Don Helverson, more questions about the intelligence of dogs and other animals.

Daisy, a student at , wrote an article for the upcoming issue of the Reed Review magazine. She asked questions to Reed teacher, Don Helverson, who has been a dog trainer for over twenty-five years and moonlights as Studio City Patch's Pet Peeves columnist.

This week, , she hones in on questions about intelligence of dogs and other animals.

Pardon the weird visual effects. Students shot this for Mister H, and they chose effects built into the shots. (Dogs can be taught not to add special effects while shooting raw footage.)
