Every time there's a tremor, a shiver—even a mild earthquake—the folks back East call to say "Are you all right?"
Now it's turn-around time! An earthquake of 5.8, which we all know is rather significant, hit back East and was felt in Martha's Vineyard where President Obama and his family are, as well as Toronto, Rhode Island, Washington, D.C., New York City, North Carolina, Georgia, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and more.
So, have you heard from relatives (our friends's phones are out in the D.C. and Maryland areas).
A friend from Los Angeles who moved to Brooklyn said, "It makes me nostalgic for home."
An old co-worker in Georgia said, "People from L.A. are asking if it was a shake or a roll, only people from L.A. would know to ask that."
My, have the tables turned.
