Justin Timberlake Scores a Strike, Ashley Greene Takes a Hike, Miley Cyrus Gets Her Bread, Vanessa Hudgens Makes Her Bed

Just days after millions saw them up on stage at the Oscars, Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake and others hang out around The S.C. Nicole Richie, Joe Jonas and others are mentioned below.

The day after he was seen all over the world presenting a short award (Best Animated Short) at the , went to relax in Studio City at with his live-in gal pal .

Shutterbugs tried to bug him about his “I am Banksy” joke on stage (which actually fell kind of flat), but he just wanted to get in his car and get home up the hill. He did get a series of strikes while bowling, and whooped it up inside.

It was cute how he was teamed up for the Academy Awards with his Studio City neighbor (who was in the Black Swan) when they presented. I wonder if the carpooled to drive down Ventura Boulevard to get to the Kodak Theatre about 10 minutes away . . .

(See the video of their presentation, and the next day’s visit at Pinz in the video section to the right.)

Then, later in the week, even though it was still around 50 degrees was caught walking his dog around his home, almost in the exact street corner where was photographed walking the pup during Super Bowl week when he was in Texas partying without her . . .

is doing some serious working out these days, like her Studio City co-worker and neighbor . She’s hiking (not alone) in the hills and working out at the gym while filming scenes here in town for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (which is broken down into parts 1 and 2). She just turned 24 and she got a precious charm bracelet form , who has been seen wandering the streets of Studio City again (in fact, one photographer had to give him directions at one point when he was a little lost walking in the Silver Triangle area.) . . . .

Speaking of Disney, has been buying out at Studio City’s Ventura Boulevard location, and must be getting a whole new boudoir. She’s been caught shopping there for the third time in two weeks . . .

Click on the right for a video of Vanessa in the parking lot . . .

Then, Vanessa went on a dinner date with to in Studio City. They laughed and giggled the whole time while photographers caught them going in and coming out of the tavern, but inside they were anything but shy with the staff and other patrons. Brittany is working on 96 Minutes, a rather brutal and violent film about a car-jacking, and she probably needed to let off some steam . . . .

Also check out's intensive workout body, too. She can't go for a day without a trip to the gym (see the Studio City shots to the right), and she's alway wearing black, and now has a little beanie she loves . . .

The night after the Oscars,, who flashed her legs a lot when she was on Dancing with the Stars, was out catching a play at the in Studio City. She was wearing denim shorts and is thrilled to talk about the remake of Footloose that she’s working on for this coming year . . .

The only addiction that seems to have is bread. She’s been spotted again ducking in for her weekly fix, then scurrying back to her Toluca Lake estate, but nobody at the bakery is telling what she comes in to get every week . . .

See a video on the right of Miley Cyrus coming out of Panera this week. . .

Who was one of the first notables (besides , flanked by Patch columnists Don Helverson ofand Joe Goodman of to try an the day it opened in Studio City? Well,   (see the photo on the right) loves them, too, and he made it over. The place is still under construction, and on the first day they were still working on the outdoor patio, and the help was giving us some attitude about asking questions and taking pictures even though we’ve been promoting this venture since the place was even thought of! All we wanted to do was find out how well business was that day, but they had to get all corporate on us about setting up interviews with the owners and stuff. So, the procedure there is that you have to wait outside in the cold until your party is all there, even if there are plenty of tables available (at 3 p.m. it was a lull), and then it’s so noisy that you can’t hear the person sitting across from you because the music is up so loud, and the tables are crushed together. And, they point out that they’re concerned about detail, like crossing the knife and fork like an X at the table. But, frankly, it’s worth the attitude (our waitress Michelle was a class act!) and the food is scrumptious…even Joe, the vegetarian, found something to love in the crushed potato fries . . .

WHERE TO GO: Monday’s at Kulak’s, check out Joe’s column. It’s the place to be.

WHO TO MEET: And talent, you’re looking for talent? Check this video out -- James LeBell interviewing Josh Zollo at . It’s priceless.

Check out neighbors Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis presenting two awards together at the Oscars in our galley to the right.

The signs are everywhere! Please vote for Wendy, Nora. He is also running ads about Wendy GreuelRead More that he knows are outright lies.
Nora Doyle May 20, 2013 at 06:31 pm
It really ticked me off to see those signs cluttering up our public spaces. I'm still undecided whoRead More to vote for, and I emailed his campaign to tell them that is is just the kind of thing that would prevent me from voting for him unless the signs disappeared by election day. I'm glad I'm not the only one to email them about it.

Wendy Greuel was incredibly efficient and responsive when she represented our district. I'm sorry,Read More Leah, that your concerns were not answered. I know she worked closely with the SCRA to improve Studio City. She will will be the same way as Mayor! Vote Wendy Greuel.

Those of us who are more familiar with the genes which statistics have shown are most likely to formRead More breast and ovarian cancer understand the choices--certainly better for me than before I was diagnosed and knew so little. I am fortunate that there is no history of cancer of women in my family.

She has received a lot of flak about making a premature decision...I hope someone from OvarianRead More Cancer or the community weighs in on this and gives their thoughts in a blog! Thanks...just click the START BLOGGING button below! THANKS!

ok. have now spent some time navigating the new patch. i hope everyone will give it a chance. it'sRead More growing on me. i think once everyone is more familiar with the new version they'll like it too.
Irene DeBlasio May 17, 2013 at 04:09 pm
@MikeSzymanski I must admit that I haven't been able to detect a new format. Where is the format?Read More Who designed this? All I can tell is that there is a beautiful shot of trees -- perfect! Under that banner all hell breaks lose and you can't tell what you're looking it. There might be a huge blowup of Mr. Walker or a too big notice of something official-looking -- possibly an agenda. I have not been able to navigate through all the stuff. Lots of white space on either side which gives me impression that we're tailoring a community paper more toward an iphone or smart phone (or a tablet). Maybe I need a GPS to find a good list of contents here. In the meantime, it's not very attractive (exception for the banner trees photo) nor entertaining and not very informative. Scotty Reston, where are you now that we need you?

the picture selected is nice and it well suits the page. it would be nice to see the full pic. tooRead More bad so much of it is blocked from the top portion of the content....any chance of seeing the full picture and starting the content beneath it?
Barbara Krause May 17, 2013 at 08:00 am
I find this very disconcerting. Mel Randall who is on the Land Use Committee was asked to submit hisRead More name. We assumed qualifications would be checked and then those best suited would be chosen. Two entries of the same name is in itself so bad makes me feel that all of this should be redone.

I was at the meeting last night and saw all I need to see on how our neighborhood council work. TheyRead More had a drawing for the grievance panel. WHAT A SHAM!! They drew 1 guys name twice and rather than stop the proceedings and make sure that the names in the hat were legitimate and no other duplicates exist and redo the drawing, they just drew another name. Now it probably was just a fluke but the appearance of a rigged drawing is there and it taints the whole council and it proceedings. It is very apparent why we need a grievance panel in the first place. When the appearance of corruption exists at the lowest levels of our democratic process it is no wonder that the whole system is collapsing before our eyes. Our neighborhood council should hang their heads in shame!

Don't see any box. The ads are the only items large and bright enough to read and they cover mostRead More everything.
