Donovan Sylla, 10, in the video above is a local fifth grader who loves building LEGO models—and visiting LEGOland. He's encouraging anyone out there to post their own pictures and video of their models of any kind. Add it to the BOARDS section of Patch.
Come back each week to see what others have added, and build more and add those.
Donovan has taken an after-school class called LEGO Robotics by the locally-based at and there are regular LEGO building events at the Studio City Library on Games Day once a month.
The big shop has some very fascinating Japanese snap-together model kits and is the big local shop for gamers.
You don't have to be from Studio City, but as Donovan suggests, you have to be a kid. Girls allowed, too.

I agree with everything you said about Mr. Reeves. I had Mr. Pesin for Algebra, he did nothing to help further my math skills. The biggest flirt around, ick. We had a girl in school at the time that flirted her way to an A and hardly ever went to class. Go figure!!
I also thought quite highly of Ms. Requiam. Glad she's still around.
