The most American of holidays, Thanksgiving is a time to pause, reflect on the year drawing to a close, and reconnect with family and friends.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve this great city and for the many, many Angelenos that work every day - in ways big and small - to make this community a better place.
Many in our city will spend Thanksgiving engaged in volunteer work to serve those who need a helping hand this week.
