90 Firefighters Respond to Ventura Boulevard Blaze
Los Angeles Fire Department extinguishes Studio City house fire in first floor of home.
A greater-alarm fire Friday at a two-story house in Studio City was knocked down in 30 minutes with no reports of injuries, authorities said.
The fire at 13042 Ventura Blvd., west of Coldwater Canyon Avenue, was reported at 5:04 p.m., according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The bulk of the fire -- which drew 90 firefighters -- was on the first floor of the home, he said.
