A big rig carrying fruit overturned on the Tujunga Avenue onramp and freeway traffic is backed up on the 101 Hollywood Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened about 5:30 this morning, but the ramp is closed onto the freeway at Tujunga Avenune going westbound.
Police and media helicopters are in the area, and officials say they expect the ramp to be closed for a few hours as rush hour progresses.
A cleaning crew was called to the site, according to City News Service.
