The water main break through the Cahuenga Pass is cleared up, according to the Department of Water an Power.
A broken line gushed into the Hollywood 101 Freeway near Barham at about 2:30 a.m. and created some traffic problems.
The California Highway Patrol reported no accidents and were on the scene within minutes to divert traffic.
It caused a morning rush-hour snarl, and even nationally-syndicated radio talk show host Stephanie Miller discussed how it kept her from getting to her Burbank studio that morning.
By 10:30 a.m. there were some repair trucks in the area, but most of the traffic was resuming as normal.
The cause of the break hasn't been determined, said CHP Officer Patrick Kimball.
