A heated argument, deadly shooting and fiery crash on the Las Vegas Strip were all captured on surveillance video and a taxi dashboard camera, according to a Las Vegas police report used in the arrest of Ammar Harris in Studio City.
Harris, 26, was taken into custody last week on suspicion of the Feb. 21 shooting and fatal crash by federal agents at the Archview Apartments on 4150 Arch Drive in Studio City.
Harris allegedly fired shots from his Range Rover at a Maserati driven by aspiring rapper Wayne Cherry Jr., 27, following an argument outside the Aria casino, the Las Vegas Sun reported.
During the shooting, Cherry, who had lost concsiousness, ran a red light and slammed into a cab, killing its driver and passenger and causing the taxi to burst into flames, according to the newspaper.
