A car fire backed up traffic on the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway and continuing into the early morening on Thursday.
The accident occurred at about 11:17 p.m. Wednesday night according to the Los Angeles Fire Deparment.
Firefighters were dispatched to the call of a car on fire on the southbound 101 Fwy at Vineland Avenue.
The LAFD Engine 86 found a Toyota Celica on the shoulder with the engine compartment well involved with fire. No injuries were reported, the cause and dollar loss were still being determined.
