According to Cheryl Hanna at Pet Rescue Examiner (http://www.examiner.com/article/california-family-desperate-to-find-dog-after-car-was-stolen-near-pe...) the local Mutt Match L.A. volunteers were running an adoption day at the pet store when the distraught owner rushed into the store hoping there were cameras which might have videoed the carjacking. The organization has offered to help, and by Sunday evening are hoping to be able to raise money to offer as a reward for the safe return of Maru.

 According to Mutt Match:

Why am I doing this? Because if my dog was stolen I would hope someone would help me. They do not have the contacts I have or the experience, and what good are either if I can't use them?

The family just wants their dog back - no questions asked. If anyone has seen Maru, please contact Mutt Match L.A. Contact information is as follows:
