A fire was reported in the Studio City hills Tuesday afternoon.
Los Angeles City Fire Department is responding to the fire at 3851 Avenida del Sol, according to fire department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
"There is a fire in the rear, possibly the attic," in a 4,200-square-foot house, two stories on the hills, Humphrey said.
The fire has not spread to the hills or any other structure at this time. The fire was extinguished in 24 minutes, according to Humphrey.
Approximately 80 firefighters are on the scene to keep it from spreading to neighboring structures. There was no immediate word on the cause.
