In response to a Wednesday night car crash that turned fatal for two good Samaritans who rushed to the scene, the city will offer crisis counseling Saturday for victims, family members and Valley Village residents.
Two women—39-year-old Stacey Lee Schreiber and 40-year-old Irma Zamora—were electrocuted when they rushed to help the driver of a car that crashed into a fire hydrant and knocked down a light pole. Six other people were injured.
The Los Angeles Fire Department, the Los Angeles County Mental Health Emergency Response Team and the mayor's Crisis Response Team (CRT) will offer counseling services beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fire Station 60 at 5320 Tujunga Ave.
