LAPD Seeks Public Help to Find Burglary Suspects Caught on Tape

Check out the video tape and contact police if you can help.

The Los Angeles Police Department and Van Nuys Area detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify burglary suspects caught on surveillance video.

Here are the details:

On Feb. 2, 2013, at about 3:50 p.m., two suspects entered a jewelry store in the area of Coldwater Canyon Ave and Riverside Drive armed with hammers.  Once the suspects entered the business, they started smashing the display cases and removing several watches.  The owner tried to stop the suspects but was pushed away by the two suspects.  The suspects with the items ran out of the location and into a light colored compact vehicle.  The same two suspects were seen on a video in the store the day before posing as customers.

Suspect one is described as a Hispanic male, 25-30 years old.  He is 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds.

Suspect two is described as a 20- to 25 year-old Hispanic male.  He is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.

Converse shoes means someone is a drug addict and "stupid"? What an ignorant comment.

The jewelery store is on the corner of Fulton Avenue and Riverside Drive. I wonder why they gave out Coldwater Canyon in their statement?

Morgan, the first assumption one would say that they are part of a gang but I am only pointing out that yes, they are stupid because they are on a video the previous day pretending to be customers, which they have not release that video. Secondly, the shoes gives me an idea who they might be and if you unaware there's major drug problem in our society.....Do you know them?

Drug addicts because of his shoes? Not to mention you are wrong, they are not the Converse. So you can judge their intelligence level from their shoes too? This is sad and slightly amusing... So, let's look at the descriptions Hispanic, weighing 150 and 170 and 5'8" and 5'10"... So they must really stand out in a crowd in the San Fernando valley, right?
