A man arrested last month outside singer-actress Miley Cyrus' home was sentenced Friday to 18 months in jail for trespassing and resisting arrest.
Van Nuys Superior Court Commissioner Dennis Mulcahy handed down the sentence one day after Jason Rivera, 40, was convicted of the two charges, according to the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office.
Rivera has remained jailed on $100,000 bail since his Sept. 8 arrest outside Cyrus' Studio City house.
The singer was not home at the time.
